THE OPPORTUNITY

IMW Industries is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that IMW’s advanced technology products are built to the highest quality standards for the alternative energy sector. The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to completing receiving inspection, being a team player, and performing the functions of the position in accordance with IMW documented procedures and instructions.

This fulltime, permanent position will be best suited for someone who is a hands-on, detail oriented type of person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment. The candidate should be flexible to the changing needs within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The duties for this position include: completing receiving, in-process and final inspections to requirements specified on purchase orders, drawings and work order travellers; completing inspection, calibration and test reports; calibration of inspection and measuring equipment; gathering, reviewing, scanning and filing of test reports. Familiarity with measuring equipment, measuring techniques, engineering drawings, basic machining and fabrication operations are important skills for this position.
