IMW is currently looking for a Materials Handler who can work as part of the Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to producing quality work in an efficient manner, be a team player, and perform the functions of the position in accordance with IMW documented procedures and instructions.

The Opportunity
This fulltime, permanent position will be best suited for someone with a materials handling certification or equivalent experience, preferably in a mid-sized manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be a person with a minimum of 3 years experience in warehousing or material handling within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to ensure that inventory is maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that all projects materials are picked and issued to the projects.
- Responsible for re stocking of warehouse shelves.
- Responsible for periodic cycle counts are completed and the results fo the cycle count are recorded
- Responsible for assisting in inventory counts.
- Responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is clean and that all parts are properly stored in their allocated location.
- To be punctual and available for a minimum of 40hrs of work per week.
- Perform work in accordance with IMW documented policies and procedures
- Complete all applicable quality records
Required Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Inventory Tracking systems
- Proficient with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Have an excellent knowledge of proper warehouse, shipping and receiving practices
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Have an eye for detail and pride in one’s work
- Have a Materials Handling certification or equivalent.
