IMW Opens China Office

IMW Shanghai Trade ShowAs part of its commitment to the development of the Asian CNG market and China in particular, IMW Industries Ltd. of Chilliwack, BC, Canada has opened a wholly-owned office and CNG service center in Shanghai, China. Heading up their Asian operation is Senior Vice President Kirk Livingston, who is no stranger to the CNG industry in this part of the world. “Having sales and service capabilities centered in China, gives IMW the ability to serve our customers throughout Asia more efficiently and quickly,” noted Livingston, who has worked and lived in China in the past.

Senior technical personnel from IMW’s Canadian factory have been stationed in Shanghai to develop and implement the training of local technicians, who have already had the opportunity to serve IMW customers from Urumuqi to Hangzhou. "The response from our customers has been very positive,” noted Senior Technician Reg Grimard. “Our ability to offer preventative maintenance programs as well as emergency service gives them the security of knowing their stations will operate with minimum downtime."

In addition to the new Shanghai office, IMW operates a broad network of authorized dealers and service centers throughout the world, including two other wholly-owned service centers in Bangladesh and Colombia, plus their Canadian headquarters and factory.
